All are hand-painted using a non-toxic latex
paint. Please note that
there may be tiny cracks in the wood, and this is
a normal "character" of the wood, and adds to the
character of this handcrafted piece. They may
enlarge or decrease depending on humidity in the
environment where they are kept. We suggest
you apply a good furniture oil periodically to
preserve the natural beauty.
Remember this is a heavy piece, so young
children should use only with adult supervision.
